Meet the rangers: Campfire chat and snacks at Katarapko
Come and join local National Parks Rangers for a meet and greet and some campfire food. Ask your burning questions about what we do, the importance of our local parks, and any Ranger tips or tricks to having an awesome National Park adventure.
Kids will also receive a camping activity bag for your next camping holiday in Murray River National Park.
When: Saturday 4th May

Discover the River Murray National Park self-drive trail audio tour
Be your own tour guide! Just download the app and get ready to here some fascinating stories, inside scoops and great local knowledge from Kevin Smith from the Friends of Riverland Parks.
This tour works offline (which is great if you don’t have network coverage) so make sure you download the tour before you go.

Ranger guided walk of Paringa Paddock Trails
Come and join local National Parks Rangers for a leisurely walk around the park. The area is teeming with birdlife and if you raise your eyes to the skies, you might be lucky enough to spot a koala!
Ask the Rangers questions about what they do, the importance of our local parks, and any tips or tricks to having an awesome adventure in South Australia’s national parks.

Murray River National Park: Photography tips, tricks and scavenger hunt
Join photographer Ben Woods along with National Parks Rangers for a fun morning in one of the most popular and scenic spots of the Murray River National Park. Learn some photography tips and tricks from Ben before going on a photography scavenger hunt to see how many images you can capture from Ben’s scavenger hunt list.

Hello Possums: Katarapko possum survey with the Friends of Riverland Parks
Come along and join the Friends of Riverland Parks and a local wetlands ecologist for a night walk to conduct a possum survey with your torch / spotlight and learn about the ecosystem of the Ngak Indau wetlands in Murray River National Park.
When: Saturday 11th May
