Celebrate spring in Murray River National Park
Come along and join in the family-friendly activities being held at the Murray River National Park this month.
Department for Environment and Water park ranger Benita Dillon said Murray River National Park is September’s Park of the Month.
“Riverland park rangers have organised events throughout the month to celebrate and entice more people to the park,” Ms Dillon said.
“There will be ranger-guided walks, working bees, bike tours, nature play activities, cultural events, half price camping and more.”
Murray River National Park conserves more than 13,000 hectares and includes a vast network of River Murray wetlands and floodplains that provide unique experiences – from walking and canoeing to bird watching and bush camping. The park stretches from Bulyong Island above Renmark, through Paringa Paddock and Lyrup Flats and then to Katarapko below Berri.
