Prescribed burn at Crafers West

A prescribed burn is planned at Crafters West in the Mount Lofty Ranges on Tuesday, weather conditions permitting.
- The prescribed burn will start at 11.45am on Tuesday December 3 2024 and is likely to be completed by 5pm the same day.
- The area to be burnt is 1 hectare on private land on the northern side of Sheoak Road.
- This burn is part of a series of prescribed burns which aim to reduce the risk of bushfire impacting on Sheoak Road dwellings.
- Traffic control will be set up along Sheoak Road during the ignition phase of the burn, with speed restrictions in place.
- Smoke may affect Sheoak Road during the burn.
- National Parks and Wildlife Service crews will remain on site until safe.
