Prescribed burn at Filsell Hill (Reserve Rd)

A prescribed burn is planned at Filsell Hill (Reserve Rd) on private land on Monday 7 November, weather conditions permitting.
- The prescribed burn will start at 11.30am and is likely to be completed by 8:00pm the same day.
- The area to be burnt is 11.5 hectares of private land 200m north of Greenhill Road and is in close proximity to the southern boundary of Kenneth Stirling CP (Filsell Hill block).
- This burn is one of a series of burns planned to reduce the risk of a fire burning through the continuous native vegetation from Cherryville to Carey Gully/Balhannah.
- No roads will be closed.
- Smoke could impact Deviation and Greenhill Roads.
