Threatened plant species
There are currently over 100 South Australian plant species listed as nationally threatened under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.
At a state level, a total of 828 plant species are listed as threatened under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972. Of these, 41 are considered to be extinct in South Australia.
