South Australia is a global leader when it comes to climate change action.
Our state has reduced its emissions by 57% from 2005 levels – putting us on the pathway to reach our target of at least 60% net emissions reduction by 2030.
Our renewable energy transition is a global success story – net renewable electricity generation has grown from 1% to 74% in just over 16 years and we’re well on track to achieve our aim for 100% net renewable electricity generation by 2030.
