Freedom of Information requests and Board Statement

A freedom of information (FOI) request can be made of the Coast Protection Board as it is deemed an "agency" for the purposes of the FOI Act.

In the first instance you are encouraged to contact the Board Secretariat of the Coast Protection Board to clarify that your request is being made to the correct agency.

There is a significant amount of information that is already public and this can be made available without the need to fill out an FOI request.

You can contact the Board Secretariat via telephone (08) 8124 4928 or via email coastprotectionboard@sa.gov.au

If the FOI pathway is what you require, you are encouraged to visit the State Records website to learn more about the FOI process here.
