Cowell Ships' Graveyard
Cowell ships' graveyard, off South Australia's Eyre Peninsula, is the site where one or two dredges were deliberately sunk outside Franklin Harbor, Cowell. However this has not been verified.
Although no specific details or documentation have yet been located, hydrographic survey charts support the suggestion that a vessel(s) was sunk in the area south of Whyalla.
