Heritage greetings through photos
In recent years, amateur and professional photographers have provided us with great gifts in the form of heritage snaps.
These 105 photos cover the breadth of our great State, from Mount Gambier’s Blue Lake in the south, to Cordillo Downs in the far north of South Australia.
They also showcase a wonderful journey through time. The Sturt Gorge Glaciation site shows evidence of glaciation (ice age) 890 million years ago, while the very youthful Bicentennial Conservatory in the Adelaide Botanic Garden is only 35 years old.
Enjoy these photos of heritage places near the sea, under the sea and photos of built and natural heritage on the land.
And perhaps plan a visit for your next holiday!
