The South Australian Heritage Council (the Council) meets approximately 8 times per year.

Observing a Council meeting

Members of the public are welcome to observe the Council meetings and should notify the Council of their intention to attend at least two days prior to the meeting.

You can notify the Council via Executive Officer, Mr David Hanna on email: david.hanna@sa.gov.au or phone: 8226 2127.

Please note that if you observe the meeting, you are not permitted to participate.

Addressing a Council meeting

Members of the public wishing to address the Council are required to fill out the request to address a meeting of the South Australian Heritage Council form and return it to the Council at least seven days prior to the meeting.

Please email your request to DEWHeritage@sa.gov.au.

Please Note: If you wish to address the Council when it is considering Confirming a State Heritage Place in the South Australian Heritage Register, you must have previously submitted a written submission during the 3-month public consultation period. This is a precursor requirement to addressing the Council under the provisions of the Heritage Places Act 1993 and as per Council's Policy.
