Dr RJ (Bob) Chinnock
Bob retired from the State Herbarium in December 2008 as a senior botanist and is now a Honorary Research Associate.
His research interests include: Eremophila and allied genera, their relationships to the environment (eg ecology, fire response, reproduction, pollinators, horticulture); the weedy Cactaceae; the classification of the Opuntiod genera in Australia in particular, their biology, dispersal methods and their control; and the ferns and lycopods of Australasia including their taxonomy and biology.
Bob is continuing his research whilst in retirement and is happy to be contacted through the State Herbarium.
